Spatialisation Gloves (2022)
This pair of gloves is a wireless OSC controller designed as an unconventional tool for spatialisation. They are made from gardening gloves and an Adafruit board. Each finger is equipped with a flex sensor that sends data to a MaxMSP patch where it is used to control various parameters. The idea was to build a controller with a workflow similar to a fader bank or mixer, only invisible and with the added freedom of movement. I have used these gloves for multi-channel diffusion of my acousmatic works in concert and for live improvisation, where each finger controls multiple parameters of a MaxMSP synthesiser.
